If there’s one place to run away and elope under the sun it’s the Joshua Tree National Park. The beautiful desert scenery creates the perfect backdrop for any couple to say I do. Not to mention there are so many beautiful AirBnB’s around that you can continue the celebrations at.
It has long been on our bucket list to do a shoot here and last month we were lucky enough to do just that. Unfortunately due to a dust storm (just our luck when we only had a short time window) we were unable to create our ceremony space. However we still had so much fun as we got to create our elopement “reception style” area.
The intimate reception took place at the beautiful Habibi House, which was just a short 15-minute drive to one of the entrances to the amazing Joshua Tree National Park. We chose this house for the shoot not only for how beautiful it was but also due to is close proximity to the park for our intended ceremony space. It also had a beautiful outdoor area where your small group of guests can gather to celebrate.
We wanted the space to tie in with the beautiful surroundings so kept the colours and textures rich and warm.
