Some weddings prove that simplicity, when executed with intention, can be the most luxurious choice of all. Marin and Rowan's celebration at The Valley Estate was the perfect example of refined elegance, where every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a timeless wedding that felt both grand and intimate.
Set beneath the venue's iconic crystal chandeliers, the reception embraced a soft monochromatic palette of crisp whites, warm candlelight and layered textures. Flowing ceiling draping transformed the space, adding softness to the dramatic architecture while allowing the venue's striking character to remain the hero.
Designing a Modern White Wedding
Our floral design centred around sculptural white blooms, creating movement and interest without overwhelming the space. Lush hydrangeas, premium garden roses and delicate carnations were paired with contemporary bud vases and elevated arrangements that guided guests' eyes down each long reception table. The result was a clean, editorial aesthetic that felt luxurious yet effortlessly understated.
Rather than filling every inch with flowers, we intentionally embraced negative space. This allowed each arrangement to make an impact while creating a beautifully balanced tablescape that complemented the scale of The Valley Estate.
Reception Styling at The Valley Estate
The long banquet tables encouraged connection and conversation, while soft linen, elegant glassware and warm candlelight added depth and romance throughout the room. At the front of the reception, two statement floral arrangements framed the bridal table, providing the perfect backdrop beneath the venue's magnificent chandeliers. Combined with the ceiling draping, the entire room felt light, romantic and inviting. Every design choice worked together to enhance the architecture rather than compete with it, creating a wedding that felt timeless and sophisticated.
