A Brisbane elopement and surprise wedding reception? Yes please!
Our beautiful Georgia and Jake first came to us last year to start planning their November engagement party, which soon turned into a surprise wedding (yay). We couldn't have been more thrilled for them (and also super excited to do our first surprise wedding).
They started their special day off relaxing at the always amazing Calile Hotel, followed by an intimate ceremony with just their two best friends at the Brisbane registry office. Then it was on to surprise the guests! All their nearest and dearest were waiting nearby at stunning The Joinery to celebrate their engagement, and also to their guests surprise, their wedding.
We kept the colours neutral with a romantic minimalistic feel which worked perfectly with The Joinery's industrial vibes. Guests were greeted with a frosted "Just Married" welcome sign dripping with clouds of babies breath and delicate orchids. This flowed through to a cocktail style reception decked out with beautiful pieces from AVideas with a Photo Booth section in in the back decked out for the perfect Polaroid guest book backdrop.
